picture me {im}perfectly.mornings not

confession:

i am not a morning person.

not one bit.

it doesn't matter if i have gotten

3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9

hours of sleep,

if i get out of bed before 7:14

(just ask B)

i'm a

cranky,

grouchy,

groggy,

impatient

mess.

it's awful.

every night i vow to have a better attitude

or promise to not plead with B 

the moment i hear little people stirring 

to let me sleep a little while longer 

and every morning 

(nearly every morning) 

i fail.

it's because i suck and i am sinful 

but it doesn't meant that it always must be this way.

i must change and grow and sacrifice.

and when i do,

the Lord surely blesses me.

like with moments like this

(which i captured only by rising early).

those unexpected moments 

are the ones that leave me breathless 

and make my heart go all pitter-patter.
