it felt like we made cookies

that's probably because we did.
the heart sandwich cookies we made from the latest Everyday Food Magazine had us refrigerating the dough for two hours. what a perfect thing to do while the kids took their naps. i love projects like this because it takes being patient to a whole new level.
when the cookies were finished baking, we sandwiched nutella in between each one.
yummy. yummy. yummy.

d loved the "learn to read" section.
and K loved watching him.
