B and i got to sleep in an extra hour this morning, while all three kids were awake.
both of us.
at the same time.
that never happens.
i am convinced that i slept more deeply in this hour than i did all night. i even awakened to drool on my pillow.
simply blissful.
we had another fun family-filled day. the song of choice today was "We Wish You A Merry Christmas."
and i mean all day long.
and unfortunately, K only knows one verse.
D said "wii should play wii should play wii..." and he and Aunt CC had a musical duet.
we picked lemons, grapefruit, oranges and mandarin oranges from the fruit trees. D refused to stop until he "just picked one more" from each tree. now i'll need to google additional uses for these fruits.
what a nice break this has been from being all by ourselves. if only i could schedule something like this for every eight hibernation days.
